Hello, my name is Gordie. I am 71 years young and from Alberta, Canada. I have been working with home buyers and sellers on their real estate goals and objectives for 33 years. Fortunately, my occupation has been conducive to only sometimes being behind a desk. The nature of the business has kept me constantly active and engaged, showing my clients new homes and their homes to potential buyers.
I’ve participated in various sports since a young age and have particularly enjoyed snow skiing and mountain biking for the last few decades. For the last 10 years, to keep myself in shape to do my skiing and biking, I have intentionally undertaken my own fitness routine to stay in shape for these activities I love. Along with eating healthy, my active lifestyle has served me well. It has gotten me to the terrific state of health and vitality that I am enjoying into my seventies.
So, if I’m doing everything right, why Andrew Kolasko Life Center? At first, I was intrigued by the emphasis on longevity because I’ve always believed that living a long, healthy life takes a conscious effort and a deliberate focus. That rang true for me. Further conversations with Andrew solidified that his ‘Turn Back Time 1-on-1 Training And Support Program’ fit my health and fitness goals well.
Although I know many fitness and health principles, I still need to expand and develop my understanding and application of strength, endurance, stability, cardiovascular VO2 max training, and diet. Even though I understand the basis and have put physical conditioning into practice, working with Andrew as a coach has taken me to a new level. This principle holds true in every facet of life… whether it’s athletic, business, and/or continued education… if we only rely on our own limited understanding, we will never grow or develop into all our potential. Without growth, new insights, and direction, we can stagnate and get stuck doing things that are no longer progressive. As productive as I’ve been in my health and fitness lifestyle, I’m not too proud to admit that there is always more to learn from an expert like Andrew.
The best things you want out of life require passion, energy, and movement. You have to do them. We need to be people who do things. And the more you do, the more confident you will become doing it. This is a vital lesson that everyone has to relearn throughout their life. You have to keep doing stuff.
The body is anti-fragile… the more that you work it, the stronger it gets. This principle is important because not knowing what we can do will stunt our potential. Rather than just watching TV, scrolling on our phones, and only getting up to get our microwaved food or to answer the door to get our SkipThe Dishes order, let’s ask more of ourselves, like taking on the Andrew Kolasko Life Centre ‘Turn Back Time 1-on-1 Training and Support Program’. Andrew has guided me in all these areas of health, wellness, fitness, and physical robustness. He continues to challenge my mindset and habits. He encourages and motivates me to accomplish everything I can do and then go beyond to new levels I wasn’t aware of.
He thoroughly investigates and analyzes each client’s background, athletics resume, family health history, daily routine, habits and practices, and overall goals.
Since my program began, Andrew has continued to retool and refine it. He has listened closely to my challenges with recovery, protein intake, and scheduling, among other obstacles. I’ve especially enjoyed our coffee meetings, where his ongoing analysis and scrutiny of all aspects of my program are reviewed continuously. In addition to his regular check-ins, he’s always just a phone call or text away.
Our time on earth is limited. Let’s spend more time in the upper percentile of quality of life, not just hoping to live long. Don’t waste another day. Spend less time in decline and more time living life to your fullest.
